Orange Bran Bread - finalist of The 2005 Carrs Junior Breadmaker Awards

Ingredients:
6 tbsp Water- 175ml Milk
- 1½ tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1½ tsp Orange Zest, grated
- 1½ tsp Salt
- 55g Bran Cereal
- 190g Wholemeal Flour
- 200g Strong White Flour
- 2¼ tsp Fast Action Dried Yeast
- 3 tbsp Sunflower Seeds
Method
- Place all ingredients into the pan except the sunflower seeds by following your manufacturers’ instructions regarding the order of liquid/dry ingredients.
- Place the seeds into the nut/raisin dispenser (if available) and set your machine to the basic/normal raisin setting, medium crust.
- If you do not have a nut/raisin dispenser when the machine indicates (with a beeping sound), add the sunflower seeds and close the lid.
