Maple Nut Moonscape Loaf

Ingredients:

• 1 tsp Fast Action Dried Yeast
• 1lb 2oz Carrs Breadmaker Strong White Flour
• 1 tbsp Dark Muscovado Sugar
• 1 fl oz Olive Oil
• 2 tbsp Skimmed Milk Powder
• 1.5 tsp Salt
• 11 fl oz Water
• 3 fl oz Maple Syrup
• 2oz Pecan Nuts, chopped
• 2 small ripe Bananas, mashed
• 2oz Banana Chips, chopped

Topping

• Extra Maple Syrup
• 1/2 oz each of chopped pecan and banana chips

Method:

1. Place all ingredients into the pan except the nuts and banana chips by following your manufacturers’ instructions regarding the order of liquid/dry ingredients.
2. Place nuts and banana chips in nut/raisin dispenser (if available) and set your machine to the wholemeal bake raisin setting, large loaf, normal crust. If you do not have a nut/raisin dispenser when the machine indicates (with a beeping sound), add the nuts and banana chips and close the lid.
3. When the bake is complete brush the loaf with extra maple syrup and sprinkle with reserved nuts and banana chips.
