Gunpowder Tea Bread - a former Loaf of the Month (November 2008)

Gunpowder Tea BreadIngredients:

  • 315ml Gunpowder Green Tea (brewed for 2 minutes, cooled)
  • 500g Carrs Breadmaker Malty Seeded Flour
  • 1 tsp Fast Action Dried Yeast
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Oil
  • 1½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Treacle
  • 200g Mixed Dried Fruit

Method: Bread Machine

  1. Follow the manufacturers' instructions regarding the order of liquid/dry ingredients.
  2. Set your machine to the basic/normal setting, large loaf, medium crust.

Sit back and enjoy!
