Peter's Breadmaker Malt Loaf

- 210ml Water

375g Strong White Flour -
1tsp Fast Action Dried Yeast

17g Butter
-
3/4tbsp Skimmed Milk Powder
-
1tsp Salt
-
1tbsp Honey
-
1 tbsp Malt Extract
-
1 tbsp Black Treacle
- 250g Sultanas
Method
1. Follow the manufacturers' instructions regarding the order of liquid / dry ingredients, and set your machine to the basic / normal setting, light crust.

"The dough whilst in process can seem a little odd compared to what you're used to maybe, seeming wetter and smaller, and in particular after the 2nd rise can seem rather miss-shapen, but this all sorts it's self out during baking, ultimately producing a loaf roughly the size of an old fashioned Hovis loaf."
