
The World Marmalade Festival is a unique Cumbrian celebration of citrus.
RECIPES WITH A CITRUS TWIST
Carrs Breadmaker - in conjunction with Cumbria Life magazine - launched a new cookery book at The Marmalade Festival with proceeds going to Carlisle and North Lakeland Hospice at Home.
Recipes with a Citrus Twist features 80 mouth-watering starters, main courses and desserts – all with a hint of lemon, orange, grapefruit or lime.
Contributors include cookery writer Claire Macdonald, restaurant critic Nicholas Lander, food historian Ivan Day and leading chefs from top Cumbrian hotels.
It also includes four fabulous recipes from Carrs Breadmaker – orange and poppy seed rolls, pissaladiere, citrus bread and butter pudding and a marmalade and white stilton loaf – all involving delicious bread made from our high-quality flours.
The World Marmalade Festival took place at Dalemain Country House, Ullswater, in the Lake District and ran from 7 - 10 February 2008.
